I recently got the opportunity to shoot for Big Think (bigthinkink.com) in Haiti. We were shooting for a company called Meds and Food for Kids (MFK). Here is a bit from their website about what they do:

“Our Mission: Meds & Food for Kids (MFK) is dedicated to saving the lives of Haiti’s malnourished children and other nutritionally vulnerable people.

We accomplish our mission by developing, producing, and distributing highly nutritious foods, including the gold-standard Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). We make our food products in Haiti, using Haitian workers and, whenever possible, Haitian raw materials. Haitians call our RUTF “Medika Mamba” — or “Peanut Butter Medicine” in Creole.”

It was quite an amazing operation and a great experience to be a part of for a moment. Here is a finished fundraising video featuring a lot of footage I shot:

While I was there I had the chance to shoot some 3D. This video should give you a good sense of what it is really like in the city. There is always so much going on. Layers and layers of rich detail and activity make for great 3D:
